Turning the award-winning short film into a feature film.
Watch it below, and then help us finish the story:
Synopsis
The Downline is about Poppy, a high-ranking "National Vice President" for LemonWell, a predatory multi-level marketing company. Her carefully curated life begins to unravel when her friend and struggling colleague, April, live streams a downward spiral on social media. She blames Poppy - along with the debt and isolation of the MLM business - for her mental health crisis.
Despite orders to stay away while the scandal blows over, Poppy’s desperation to keep her reputation in tact and claim her promotion reward—a brand-new Mercedes—drives her to crash the company party.
The celebration devolves into a nightmare of suppressed rage and corporate gaslighting as Poppy faces off against rival consultants and April’s grieving husband, Nick.
